Paraguay

Mission 68 - 2019

Mission 68 was our 20th mission to Paraguay.The team, working with the Junta National de Cuerpos de Bomberos Voluntarious del Paraguay trained over 110 firefighters in Incident Command, safe working at heights and road traffic collision procedures. The team also visited 22 fire stations throughout the country to better understand the needs and requirements.

Mission 27 - 2009

Mission 27 was a mission to continue support to the Junta National de Cuerpos de Bomberos Voluntarious del Paraguay. The team carried out training on general firefighting, road traffic collision and aviation firefighting techniques. Two members of the team also carried out an assessment of an area in Argentina to start support. (Mission 28)

Mission 10 - 2005

This mission carried out training on various up to day techniques including Incident Command Procedures, a relatively new concept for Paraguay, especially with the multiple fire services in operation. Other training on Breathing Apparatus, RTC and practical exercises to pull all the training together.

Mission 08 - 2005

Our third mission to Paraguay carried out training on RTC, casualty handling, breathing apparatus and Haz Mat.

Mission 07 - 2005

This mission was based around the donation of our 11th vehicle which was a donated Meteor airpprt light foam tender called Spirit of Edinburgh. Training was carried out on the vehicle as well as firefighting and breathing apparatus training with over 150 firefighters.

Mission 06 - 2004

Our first mission to Paraguay where we followed a container of much needed equipment including hydraulic rescue equipment, breathing apparatus, PPE and ladders.
